My interests change regularly. One of a few constant interests in my life has been that of fitness. As long as I can remember, I have been practicing functional fitness by running, jumping, throwing, lifting weights, doing pushups, and so on. It hasn’t been for preparation of sport, I simply enjoy the effects of exercise and moving well. Being fit enables me to safely accomplish my physical duties as a firefighter. I’m also enjoying the challenge of keeping up with my daughter as we both grow older. Finally, it feels good to look healthy in the eyes of my Wife!
I became a Level 1 CrossFit Trainer in October of 2013, UCANROW2 Indoor Rowing Instructor in September 2017 and then Level 2 CrossFit Trainer in September 2018. I look forward to continuing to learn how to efficiently train myself and others who desire more out of life!
